Position Overview: As a Data Scientist at ottosAI, you will be part of a vibrant team responsible for analyzing large data sets to derive actionable insights and build predictive models that will have a direct impact on our company's success. You will work closely with product teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

​

• Utilize predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.

• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.

• Use advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and their applications in data analysis.

• Conduct A/B tests and build models to understand complex behaviors and trends.

• Analyze large, complex data sets to extract insights and support decision making.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

Qualifications:

​

• A degree in a technical or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist; 12 or more years inclusive of years of education.

• Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.

• Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience.

• Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Java.

• Experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or TensorFlow) and libraries (like scikit-learn).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
